Registry Hacks Part -1 (How To Prevent Changing Wallpaper Of The Desktop Background?)



Hello and welcome to this blog guys. My name is Jishu and in this tutorial I am going to show you a registry hack, performing which you can disable the changing of the wallpaper of your desktop background.

So, here are the steps to perform this registry hack:


  1. Open the registry editor.
    •  You can open the registry editor by opening the Run command, typing Regedit and hitting the   enter key, as you can see in the screenshot given below:

  2.  Now, go to the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

  3.  Create a new sub – key called ActiveDesktop under the key called Policies (You can do soby        just  right clicking on the Policies key and choosing New à Key).

  4.   Now, in the value pane of the Key called ActiveDesktop, create a new DWORD value called NochangingWallpaper by just right clicking in the value pane and choosing New -- DWORD (32- bit value).


  5. Double click on the DWORD value called NochangingWallpaper, which you just have created, and  give it a value data of 1, as you can see in the screenshot given below:
